Sorry, this might sound stupid, but how do I change my Avatar??

Go to your profile, and select "options". (I think). There is a check box to change your avatar. Yes, give us a new one with a bigger image!

 

You have to have 25 posts to put up a custom Avatar.

 

actually, its 40 posts, unless something changed recently.

At least you're not doing what a new guy on the 993 board did a few weeks ago. He posted to every single thread on the first page, his replies being a ridiculous one or two word answer, along with the number of posts he had garnered up to that point. (In a post asking what the board thought of a certain Ruf, his reply was, "love em 15".)
