Default New addition... (not Porsche)

So you guys know about my F-car that sustained terminal injury
When I was looking for that car, I was trying to decide between the F 328 and another car. Ended up getting the Ferrari. Well, time to move on and with the insurance settlement, I was able to get my wife a new Lexus RX350 and get this for my self. This was the 'other' option I was thinking about when I got the Ferrari.

Picked it up yesterday!
90500Km, 1994. It's a great car. This one is in very good condition too. Well ahead of it's time when it came out in 1991, all aluminum. Very stiff. I'll get some under body pics later, the aluminum suspension components look really cool.

I can vouch the car is in immaculate condition especially given the miles.

Enjoy it!

I love NSXs. Any particular decision to get a gen 1 with a manual steering rack vs gen 2?

Lighter, stiffer/came only as coups, original Aryton Senna influence, I like the feel of manual racks (I have a RS manual rack in the turbo), the 94 is the last year of the original design so has some of the minor quirks worked out/has passenger airbags/cup holders/larger wheels (all of which the 91-93 didn't have). But before they came with the open top roof in 95 and became 100lb heavier, - so 94 the best year in my mind.

Had it out to day on the hwy and put 150km on it. It's a great car. Fun to drive. No wonder a lot of these cars have higher miles on them.

Took it to Mike J's bbq and we put it on the lift, the suspension parts look quite cool. Let me find some pics.

Other than we assume a melted plastic bag that got picked up by the flexible exhaust piece that I'll spend some time picking off the next time I have it on the lift, it looks really clean underneath. Pretty delicate/intricate cast aluminum pieces.

Its a very nice car! I like how the bottom of the front trunk is open to the road, we hoisted the car and then noticed that we could see the spare tire, abs controller etc. from the bottom of the car.

This car is stock, so it needs a louder exhaust (its really quiet) and perhaps lowered a bit, but otherwise a really nice find!

Hopefully we get the 928 on the hoist next BBQ!

Cheers,

Mike
