Octane was a mix which I calculated at 98. I'm running 235/315 which are taller than the stock combination plus the speedometer isn't that accurate, who has time to look anyway. Radar gun had me at 149 on a so so lap, Cort Wagner was well over 150. Also depends on how well you come out of turn 9. The fastest straight away speed will not get me the best lap time.
Look forward to our next track outing now that you have the RUF suspension. I still owe you a ride.

James Fyn from Altra Performance is reassembling my '96 GT2 as-we-speak. I also upgraded to an Andial 3.8L kit and learned quite a bit from this thread. Hope to meet you someday.
p.s. I recall your Polar Silver car in Al's shop last winter. It was for sale and i was really thinking about it. LOL.

I know Pierre and James also. I was just at Al's shop this morning and saw Pierre's car there.. I guess he is still tuning the supercharger.
James wanted to see how fast his 930 RUF was so he brought it over to Al's place and he drag raced it against my 993TT.. Let's just say his 550hp wasn't enough to keep up..
Yup.. Al is a straight shooter.. He said he dyno'd the car at 858RWP. He was pushing 1.7BAR. He absolutely killed the 1300cc Hayabusa he raced and he started from a roll in 2nd gear.
You should of bought my car.. You would have been VERY happy with it. Anyways, I was at a point where I decided I was going to just keep it and upgrade to the 3.8L TT motor like Al's and someone saw my car in Al's shop and made a generous offer so I sold it.
I am looking for another one to start all over again....
P.S-> Tell Pierre and James that Victor says Hi.

Can you email me or fax me your dyno sheet? You are reinforcing what I have been preaching for many years. Is it over 500 RPM? WOW... Cort is a amazing driver. It didn't take him long to wind up some good 1/4 mile launches!

Re: Brakes:
Fronts are Brembo F-50 calipers powder coated red to look like stock brakes. Thanks to my friend Rick White (former chief driving instructor for POC) he created a heat resistant "porsche" stencil. Rotors are Brembo 355mm.
Rear are Porsche RSRs.
Currently running Porterfield pads.
Key is active brake cooling. I'm using the Tech Art brake cooling kit which requires a bit of modifcation and cutting on a tt.
I see you have a 3.0 944t. Nice. Who built it.?

Can you be more detailed about the rear RSR brakes?
The 944 is built and maintained by Dwain at Kokeln Vision. The thing about this car is not the 3.0 liter power but the amazing handling. JRZ and Pirelli slicks really is an awesome combination!

MeanRex,
The 3.8 kit is not cheap. I suggest you call Andial and they can tell you. There are several options which can be addressed. The 3.8 will overwhelm
the chassis unless you do some upgrades to shocks and springs.
