If the reference O2 level is pulled through the wire harness than possibly an incorrect A/F ratio at certain times (like idling in traffic or driving in reverse)?

Concerning some of the oxygen sensors being offered for sale as correct fitment for the 993, Bosch part #13723 has a 28.3 inch length overall, far too short for my 1995 993, while #13721 has a 34.3 inch LOA, possible to install, but so tight it can't run through all the retaining clips, so still too short. Further research shows Bosch part #13369, with a 39.4 LOA, to be the correct fitment. Here are some more crossover numbers for Bosch part #13369:
