Yep, it surprised me. I put it in a spray bottle and sprayed/soaked like they said. Than did it again as the seats weren't cleaned for a while.

Soaking into foam is a possibility. I'm actually beginning to think - is it Leatherique's cleaner I used a bunch of or Rejuvenator? In either case, it was surprising (and not cheap), but the result was very nice.

Ah yes, it was probably the Pristine Clean that you used all of. That can happen for sure. I've always wondered why they sell both the Rejuvenator Oil and the Pristine Clean in the same sized bottles when you use so much more of the cleaner to get the RO off. I think I bought 2 bottles of PC for the 1 bottle of RO on my last purchase.

Yep, it was Pristine Clean. I just went and looked - still have half a bottle of Rejuvenator and maybe an ounce of Pristine Clean left in the spray bottle, indeed, 2:1.

So, is that fairly normal to use the whole little 8 Oz bottle in one application? Not that I'm complaining, they are good products and I like Leatherique as a company. Actually, still have an unopened bottle of Supper Prepping Agent sitting on the shelf for some reason. The only funny thing is that their bottles deform over time. I talked to the company, they said it's pretty normal. Quaint little outfit with very nice folks.

Yep - that's not unusual for me. I like to make sure I've wiped down the seats well, and have not left any stickiness behind.

And be careful with the bottles. As they deform they sometimes crack and leak. Sit them on something that can't get ruined if they do leak

Yeah, the cracking happened before, too, I had to move the contents to a better bottle.

I also realized realized that my pristine Clean was a smaller 8 Oz bottle from their kit The normal smallest they sell as a stand-alone is 16 Oz, so "using the whole bottle" might have sounded a bit odd at first

I've used quite a bit of the leatherique products, here's a tip try rubbing the oil on and cover the seats with green garbage bags, then set them in the sun for a couple days. This really helps get the oil into the leather.

The biggest issue with hardback seats, both 993 and 996, to me, is the very narrow shoulder area, pushing your back out of the seat, not letting you truly get "into" it. And I'm not a big guy.

the softback seats don't have that problem due to more open shoulder area. And they are both more comfortable and more supportive. And very, very hard to find.

Yes, I assume you are talking about Das Renn Treffen? I had just bought the car and had the seller's WA tags on the car still. She now has FL tags and painted hardbacks

Hahaha! Don't worry, the chrome wheels are going to be gone very soon. I bought a set of refinished 8/10x18 hollow spoke twists in NB offsets that will be going on the car soon. I have been putting it off to enjoy driving her as much as I can until it gets too hot and humid here for convertible fun. Went for a drive yesterday and we almost melted at every red light. Had to run the AC with the top down. I think it's almost time.
