My 993 has H&R Stage 2 springs supposedly lowering 1.4” front & 1.3” rear compared to US springs. From the ground to fender measures about 24.5” front and 25.25” rear.

In 2000 miles, I have forcibly “BANGED” the front underside 3 times. Once out of a gas station, once into a hotel entrance and once through an intersection. Each time there was a dip which I never would have given notice to in another car.

I am thinking about going up to ROW M030 springs.

Regards,
George

Sorry to hear about you clobbering your 993 bottom.

I did a trial fit of H&R springs on the front when I was doing the mod to a M030 setup. Even with the spring perches set as high as possible, car sat way too low for my taste. I sent them back and got the Euro M030 springs.

I have the H&R's with the MO30 shocks and sway bars and have had little trouble. While I do admit to being careful, I don't find the ride height to be a problem. I can say the setup has made a major positive contribution to the cars handling. Mike W

Mike W,

I cannot comment on the car’s handling as compared to other springs because my 993 had the H&R springs on it when I bought. However, it does handle like a dream!
