DB, not to hijack this thread, but how do you like the RS clutch and lightened flywheel? Some folks have issues when installed on a 95. I suppose I will have to replace my clutch fairly soon, and I am trying to decide if I should go with a lightweight flywheel or the original.

This dealer is now my Ex Porsche Dealer.
Apparently, the cost of refreshing those magazines and the K Cup coffee in the tastefully appointed waiting room can really add up fast.
Actually the local dealer has a mechanic with experience with air cooled 911 so I use the dealer, Euroclassics Porsche‎ in Midlothian, VA for service items that I feel independent shops are not likely to do properly, things such as alignments due to the need to set the Kinematic toe, something that most alignment folks admit they can't do because our cars are not even listed in their alignment rack's computer.
In the case of alignments, the end result is very apparent if it is done correctly.
Other work I will give to the dealer if it requires a lift to do and I am unable to get estimates from the local independent shops, usually because they are heavily booked up around here most of the year.

Are you referring to Euroclassics Porsche, Chris Stone, Service Manager?
Chris Stone is extremely knowledgeable and very helpful.
Regarding alignment, I didn't know the effect to the driver or my car. I figured that since I drive so few miles I put allignment to the back of the list. I was also told to do the alignment when I replace my clutch.
And yes, I did get a plastic container of water and a Porsche Shopping Bag. The water and the shopping bag were both provided by Main Line Porsche, referred by Chris Stone. Main Line Porsche repaired the underlying problem with my car for $160.00. I removed my car, at Chris Stone's advice, from Porsche of Conshohocken, from which I bought my car new. Porsche of Conshohocken charged over $3200.00 and never repaired the underlying problem and didn't offer a bottle of water. Instead, I got something else....(use your imagination)

Porsche Bottled Water Supplied by Main Line Porsche.

Porsche Shopping Bag, provided by Main Line Porsche.

Chris Stone advised me to get my car out of Porsche of Conshohocken immediately and referred me to Main Line Porsche.
I speak very highly of Chris Stone and Main Line Porsche.

Lift and alignment rack are not the same. BTW, one of my tenants is a Porsche Service Advisor. He can't distinguish either so don't feel bad.

I love the quickness with which the engine revs up.

I have had a couple of stalls due to the revs dropping so quickly and the engine management idle control valve not able to compensate quickly enough but once I learned to consistently slow down and leave it in gear until I hit about 1100 RPM before depressing the clutch I’ve been fine, if I need to downshift quickly I can always blip the throttle and raise the revs.
It’s not bad enough to make me want to do the heavier light weight flywheel that I think is made by Steve Weiner (not sure if him, I just saw some posts about it ) but I’m fine the way it is.

We highly recommend Motul 300V 15-50 engine oil. Motul 8100 5w-40 also meets the specifications but I like the thicker viscosity for these engines.

BRAD PENN baby!!! All day long. And do your own oil changes, allows for "bonding time". I've got an oil place near me since we used to have a small airport that has been converted into an awesome park. These guys always have Bran Penn in stock at reasonable prices.

Since the suggestion has been made for m1 20/50 vtwin oil, would other 25/50 vtwin oil be recommended? I have ammsoil 20/50 lying around for the other love of my life, so using it for the car and the bike would simplify life a little.

The oil discussions on the Harley boards are equally as entertaining, btw.
