Ok, cool. Checking relays seems like a good first step. I’d rather it be a dirty relay than shelling out for a new pump (even though I have the $100 PCA coupon…)

But, seeing as I am dumb, could you tell me where these relays are located and how to pull them? Do they pull out, pry out, special tool,…
Are they self-identified as R42 and R43, or how do I distinguish them?

Relays are located inside the fuse box which is just forward of the windshield on the passenger side underneath the trunk carpet.
They just pull out and have their associated number molded into the fusebox adjacent to their slot.

Ok, well I determined that the pump was the problem and I successfully replaced it!
