Default '94 Motronic memory chip needed

Hi guys.
A friend of mine have a '94 model with a aftermarket memory chip installed in the engine management system. We have reason to believe that this memory chip has an intermittent fault, causing the engine to stall from time to time.
Does anyone have a original memory chip lying around? It must be made for use in a Motronic part number 993.618.123.02
I could then either buy this original chip, or copy its contents onto a new EPROM.
Cheers,
Tore

Tore,
I'm not sure about the part number you need but my car was built in April 1994, I have had the stock chip in storage for some time. Would this help you? I would just need to locate it in my garage

Hi Tore
I also have a std chip from my 94 car. I will need to grovel under the seat to find the motronic part no but the chip itself is labelled 267.358.164 with 112 written in ink over the number. It's snowing heavily in UK so I won't be looking today. Let me know if you need it.
Regards
John

John, thank you very much, I am indeed interested.
I don't know how the original chip should be marked. Could you have a look on the Motronic unit and let me know please.

I'll come down and do the snow showeling for you, I'm a pro!
Cheers,
Tore

Success, the snow stopped and Motronic number is the same. I will post the chip today if you still require it.
