Today was great! I really enjoyed hangin' and chatting with so many interesting people. Its funny how these cars can bring people together that you may have never met otherwise. I have larger versions of those 4 pictures in my gallery if any one is interested. Cant wait to do this again!

Steve, Thanks for the great event - everything was perfect.
Mark, thanks for the great tips!

It was great to meet such a terrific group of enthusiasts. It was nice to put a face to all of those posts. I am looking forward to the next event to get to know everyone better.

Chris - a pleasure to meet you and your son and to check out your car. I hope to see more of you on Rennlist.

Tony - again, that cobalt blue is so damn pretty and luscious. Good to hang out with you.

Peter- you're welcome. BTW, your pic page isn't available for some reason.

Aston Martin DBS V8?

Good fun today. Saw as many 993's as I usually see in a month.

Tony, your S2 is gorgeous. I thought my "old" silver one was nice . . . your's is PERFECT.

When did they raise the speed limit on Rt. 50 to 120mph?

John,
this is probably the best pic ever taken of my car. My paint looks as good as Tonys', which couldn't be further from the truth. Shows all the latest mods too!!!!

Cool Pics Peter. I like the ones best where the Porsches are in motion travelling through Annapolis. I was hoping to see some pics from Cherner Classics! Anyone take any of the fine machines they had there? That Detroit Iron muscle car with the tires that were 3 times as wide as my rears was quite unique, to say the least! I would have had "all the babes" in high school had I owned that car back then . If only "Back to the Future" was possible.

Chris: You have a great sense of humor and your son looked like he really enjoyed the camaraderie. By the way, you should really post a pic of your white cab with those luscious Supercup wheels... maybe as your Avatar. Then, I'd get to see it each time you post a message. White's the perfect color for a 993 Cab - very sharp.

Mike: Your turbo with those chrome HRE wheels is quite the looker. I guess you and I both learned today something about spot cleaning our cars - apparantly paper towels is a no no. I learn something new each time I show up for one of these.

Peter - you came close. From what I can tell, it is an Aston DBS, but does have the C pillar louvers characteristic of the inline six. Here's a link to a cool site for Aston Martins.

Below is a shot of the rear. Kind of a big car with Mustangy lines.

Great pictures, Mark and Tony!

"Seven eggs," Mark!!!??? Better go get that cholesterol checked Also, do you have any .wav files of your exhaust?

Mike, I'm glad you like the shot. Your car brought back fond memories of my former 951, which you can see hereLink to Pic I sold it to a fellow Rennlister, Dave E in MA.

Chris, after seeing the look in your son's eyes gazing at all the machinery, you can bet he's going to be a P-car fan for life. That would make Ferry Porsche proud.

Bobby, I still think you are the luckiest man in the world, with both a 993 and a Boxster. I won't tell anybody on the other board which keys you grab when you really wanna let loose

The weather will be hit and miss for the rest of the winter, but if anyone wants to brave another drive or gathering again before Spring, I'd be up for it.
