I am very intrested in getting a flip up DVD/nav.
screen in my 993. Because of the shape of the dash
profile, is it possible to install one of these?
Or do i have to mount a separate screen and if so
where would be a good place?

At CES in Las Vegas last month, I looked at some flip up units, but they do not clear the dash. One alternative is the

and transferable from one vehicle to another. I have not decided yet.
There was also a Blaupunkt in dash in a recent thread.

How about the Becker Traffic Pro as seen on Gert's website? No flip screens, replaces nicely the stock unit without spoiling the interior...and its the unit Porsche sold as tequipment in Europe! A bit expensive but if you go for originality this should be it!
Good luck!
