Cool Tools
I have inherited a few tools from my grandfather, some of them kinda neat, and some old. Before starting this thread, I looked for a similar, but found none.
SO.. I will start it off with a tool I wished I had when I did the spark plug wire replacement. Those plug hold down blocks on the fan shroud....i have seen some of the creations to get the phillips screw loose...and made one.
Came with a full set of bits. looks to be 40 years old or so. The wrench is just under 4". Made by J W Chapman Durham, CONN.

Look up http://chapmanmfg.com
Same company as your grandpa's tool. I have the same exact one (well, the newer version) and use it all the time! They are not cheap, but are absolutely awesome!

Another favorite, are the Hazet flexible hex nut drivers, especially in 7mm and 8mm, which are perfect for loosening and tightening all the hose clamps in odd places

I just use a 1/4 flex drive, Wera ratchet, and whatever socket I need.
Cheers,

There was a period in maybe the late 1980's that Craftsmen ratchets were HORRIBLE. They would slip a tooth and you would smack your hand....
The "newer" ratchet in your photo looks like that vintage. The older one is probably much better.
Bad memories.
I only have Facom, Hazet, and Snap-On ratchets now.
