It is my unverified theory that some HID or LED bulbs as high beams keep the fogs from switching back on when going from high beam to low beam.
Edit ... thanks Endoman. The above fog operation is only USA cars AFAIK.

See the schematic below. I think that, for USA 993s, replacing the high beam bulbs with higher impedance HID ballasts or LED bulbs causes the R34 fog relay to stay disengaged after the high beams switch it off. Make the circuit work like ROW by removing R34 and putting a jumper between socket contacts 87 and 30.

I'm being obtuse, I guess.
So you've got Tore's kit installed in the low beam projector spot and the Cyclops kit in the high beam reflector spot?
Flashing high beams works with this setup?
The issues from this swap are:
1) More heat, removed with a built in fan in the light.
2) Possibly the working of the fog lights.
3) Some fitment issues?
Is that correct?
I, too, would like "more" high beams. I love Tore's conversion, but I still use, and curse at, the OEM high beams.

2) Possibly the working of the fog lights. No foglights still work.
3) Some fitment issues? what I've done to modify the y mount ensures fitment. Swim at your own risk. All disclaimers apply.
Is that correct? I guess so.

I did this high beam conversion today and everything went as described by the Flyingchappy. My low beams are Gert's HID setup. Getting everything back in the housing was a chore but doable. Maybe Gert's components are a little bigger than Tores. I think my high beams are now useful; thanks Flyingchappy.
