Default Clutch Pedal ?

My clutch works fine. However it gets stuck or does not return all the way, gets stuck intermittently 3/4 pedal or 1/4 pedal to the top. If I sift quick it sticks and it I tap it the pedal comes right back up. If I shift normally or slow the lever comes up normally. That 1/4 of throw does nothing or does not move anything.

Anyone know what that can be?

I was reading the clutch is hydrologic and has 2 slaves cylinders, is that right?

A common problem with '95s.

Yup - same problem on my 95. Learned to live with it.

There was an updated part number (ends in 03) that was supposed to fix this problem. I have that part installed. I also replaced the slave and the fluid with no change. The next step is to replace the master cylinder. I think the problem lies in the clutch itself.

It's most likely your kinematic clutch lever in the pedal. One thing you can try before rebuilding the pedal assembly, is flush your clutch fluid. But I bet it has to do with that lever!

993-423-519-03.

Do you change/bleed the slave cylinder or the clutch circuit?

Before you go throwing parts at it, try simply bleeding the clutch slave as others have noted. I also had a '95 with the same symptoms, and it all went away with a good bleed. I've paid for two brake bleeds that I suspect never really happened by the way - so do this yourself, or make sure you're there to watch them do the job.

It had a new clutch, updated clutch bushings and lines bled about 8k ago.

I'll try that...but if Porsche came out with a new pedal arm just for that problem it cant hurt. Part is like $75.00 and my time.
