Default Wheels

I am beginning to think about upgrading my wheels. One option would be Fikse FM5's(had them on my C2). I know over time people have posted pictures of their wheels. It might be neat (as well as helpfull to me!) to post pictures of Rennlisters wheel combinations. It would be helpful to state the type of wheel and the approximate cost. thanks Mike W

ok Mike, here's the wheel I want for Christmas Veloce GT1. Extremely light and great looking, imho. Cheapest price I have seen is around $1600+shipping etc for a set.

Love these wheels Graham! Now I'm torn between Volk and these ones...
Any opinions?

I should add this information about them:

8.5 x 18 e50 7.4kg
10.0 x 18 e56 7.9kg

I have only met one person who has them so far. He had them for a year and tracked regularly and was very happy with them. It was his wheel I photographed.

I think (unless you have hours of spare time) if you drive your car often, then a general 5 spoke design works well in terms of looks and maintenance. Otherwise the Krone-esque wheels with a 'phat' lip do it for me. For me, its a toss up between the Roock 5 spokes and the OZ Supperleggera III 12 spokes.

Roock 5 Spokes

OZ Superleggera III

Just waiting for a new contract before taking the plunge on one of these...

Graham - would you mind sharing the source that sells them with that price?

Thanks!

Chris, where did you find those amazingly, uh, interesting wheels?

They're stranger than the "dead-head dancing bear" wheels that were made for VW's new Beetle.

Mark, I found them on a Subaru BB that a coworker pointed out to me.

I actually debated posting a picture of these, didn't want to offend anyone and lower the class of this great BB...

I wonder if they sell a lot of these wheels for Miata's?
