US/Canada and ROW?

I seem to recall a number of less than 200 worldwide. I may be a bit off though.

Depending on who you believe, the number of 993 Turbo S cars sold by PCNA (USA & CDN) varies between 190 and 200. I do not know how many were produced worldwide.

From my third hand knowledge, the '97 Turbo S was only produced for the North American Market with numbers < 200. There appears to be a '98 Turbo S for the rest of the world, but I don't have numbers, and don't know if the specs are the same.

Awesome car though.. I love mine. Beats the Ford Focus I drive to work everyday

That is correct. The Turbo S was sold in the US as a '97 model while it was available in the ROW as a '98 model. I believe the ROW version had a 450 HP DIN (444 HP SAE) engine while the US version had a 430 HP DIN (424 HP SAE) engine.
