993 and 997 Finally Together
I bought the 997 (2011 C4S) back in April and have owned the 993 now for almost 15 years. This is the first time I've had a chance to get a photo of both cars together.....
Both are great cars of course - I bought the 997 mainly to have something to drive that is more practical day in and day (PDK) and to avoid racking up miles on the 993 - a car which I will keep forever I hope.
The 993 is really so much more fun to drive - and that may be partly to do with the PDK in the 997 and lack of driver involvement. But the 997 is a monster as far as speed and handling, but very usable day in and day out and quite comfortable.

The day I sold my 993. Could not DD it the way I was, and the way it should. That's water on the floor from a last washing.
I don't regret it. Also, wife would not park her CLK in the driveway.
