I only have fifteen or so track days this year with the 993 and didn't notice a need for LSD until I went to VIR's full and south course. It was the first time I thought it would be a benefit. Additionally, my street tires may have been coming to the end of their useful life and sliding more than before.

IMHO you don't need LSD unless you want that last bit of time at the track. If it's just a fun DE, don't need it.
