I was told it was a limited edition but assumed that was just dealer speak for, "you're about to pay too much."
I believe it originaly stickered in the neighborhood of $125k. Limited edition indeed.

Hi Dreamer, last four on the VIN is 1149 but I won't know the build date until it arrives on Friday.

Will be intrigued to hear more of the story on this one!

993 C4 Cab for the win! Very nice. They are one of the rarer builds and it sounds like you might have one that's even rarer than usual.

Yep, looks like our cars were very close together on the production line as my build date is 12/97 as well.
Both cars were within probably the last 100 or so 993s built for the US market. I think US 993 production ceased around February, 1998.
That's cool!

I had to get on a plane today and this showed up literally 40 minutes before my Uber did...
I did get all the records though and the service book has all the right stamps. Amazing.

Pains me to see it traveled from CA to CO on an open trailer but glad it's home safely.
Yes, we need to see service, ownership history, and option sticker...and some shots of the interior!

OP - congrats on the great barn (I mean garage) find

Very interesting...since numerically you're right in front of OP's car but build dates are a month apart that indicates that Porsche didn't sequentially VIN# the cars as they went down the line...perhaps because you have an S car?

I have to look at my COA, but I believe my car was assembled on 11/28, so indeed they can be sequential if the OP's car was assembled in early December. Technically in different production months but in reality just a few days apart.
