Default 993 feelings

Going on 15 years of 993 ownership....and the reaction of this girl pretty much sums up how I feel every time I get into mine.

That little girl shows the cool innocence and purity of children.

Thanks for posting.

I agree with Mark such a great response. I hope my little girl has that response when I get her the late 70's style pick-up truck that she wants. I have no idea why but it appeals to her.

My daughter wanted a new beetle so we got her an old but good looking 2000 New Beetle in yellow. She dressed up posed in front of it in a 60's style hand printed hippy skirt and blouse leaning against the hood. She drove it her last two years of High School and her mother drove it after that. Ultimately we replaced it with a 2014 New Beetle. Clearly VW worked on making all the engine plastic parts and hoses more robust. The new interior still has the fabric over urea foam covering so I suspect it will fail just as the old one.

No, it never gets old. Even when I first viewed this video many years ago, in Luca, I saw the innocence of a boy who likes mechanical things...and speed. In Maz, I saw a really great and sweet dad.

I hope both of these assumptions are not far off of the mark.
