Does initially sound like low or incorrect ATF fluid. I used Royal Purple ATF since it was readily available and met the spec. Also was surprised at how many quarts it holds - I think like 10 quarts. Double check your manual, but I remember lifting the case of ATF fluid and thinking, "Wow, that all fits in there?"

Have you tried eye-balling the ATF level at the gauge on the side of the tranny? Most original gauges are no longer see-through unless it's been replaced already.

Default tip issue

The Tippy is very sensitive to fluid level. It took me a few tries to get it right after doing a complete flush. Hold a flashlight up to the indicator to make sure you are actually reading the level and not discoloration of the plastic.
The Tippy will also shift erratically if the fluid is contaminated.

If you had it serviced by someone, take it back and have them check and or confirm to you how much ATF they put in. I had mine serviced same as yours last year at my indie but he did a good job and I haven't experienced any issues.
