The recent Car and Driver tested a buncho cars @ VIR and the fastest GT3 RS / Viper ACRs were 45 seconds slower.
Not trying being a smarta$$, i just figure that like most tracks, VIR has multiple layouts.
2:06 is a very good time for the full course at VIR, 3.27 miles.
C&D's Lightening Laps are run on the Grand Course, 4.20 miles.
Correct, those are VIR full course lap times. At this years PCA club race the fastest lap turned by a 993 SuperCup was a 2:04. Basically, my car is 2 seconds slower with a 3.6 stock motor vs the factory 3.8 #143 JACK GILSDORF GTC2 2:04:858
