I've two, a 993 C4S '97 and a '89 964 C4.
The two cars are in perfect conditions.

When I picked up my C4S 4 months ago, I had intended on selling my '86 Carrera. However, I can't seem to part w/ the Carrera because it's a lot different than the 993. So, for now I will keep both.

I've been using a 944S2 as a daily driver for 5 years. The car is fantastic, easy to maintain, (maintain, not fix). I put 4 snows on a drive all winter long. Quite fun in the lake effect snow!
My other cars were an 86 911 until this December and now a 97 993

I have two also. I also agree if you are going to own more than one, get different models. You will really see what Porsche has to over. I was planning to sell one or the other but I can't make up my mind as after a drive in either one, I'm in love with the car all over again.

I have a 356 next to the 993. Actually, I am selling it to make room for a commuter - I don't want to keep on putting 100 miles a day on the 993.

2 here too.

The 993 is getting more $ and attention, the 951 is feeling left out but still greatly loved.

I got two. One for a daily driver. One for the track.

I like having two of the same car but for polar opposite reasons. Makes you realize how incredible these cars are right off the showroom floor.

I have a '96 993 that's now a 3.8 race car and an '01 Boxster that is my fun car. I traded a '96 993 C4S for the race car, and I miss it every day! I sold an '88 928 S4 a few months ago, but don't miss it so much.

My wife wasn't letting me drive the C4 enough, so I went out and got the '87 as a daily driver. It is in "nice enough" shape cosmetically - but not pristine so I don't have to care about rock chips, door dings, etc. 'Higher' mileage at 120k, but real strong mechanically. And different enough from the C4 that I can still drive a 'different Porsche' on the weekend.

Now looking for a cheap, older one, maybe a '74-'83, to set up specifically for AutoX and DE.

Yes Pin, I now have two also. The 993 is the daily driver and the 964 will be for track use.

Interesting responses...thanks for the input. I'm leaning towards a Boxster but I really enjoy the power and feel of my 993. I have been driving my 993 more now that the weather is cooling down. I got behind a gravel truck yesterday and picked up a couple of chips on the hood...

------- Don't get me started on the proliferation of semi's on the highway and the danger they pose...

Anyway, I'm still debating. A higher mileage 993 will cost the same as a newer Boxster (with warranty). The Boxster is interesting, but, it's still not a 911.
