Default Cooling down after a run

Am I the only one that does this? Is this overkill?

My commute home was fun

Dont have an answer to your question besides that I dont do that.

But that picture makes your silver paint look different than any of the other silver/grey colors. Looks great.

Thanks... The paint does look beautiful, but I prefer silver too. I use Optimum Polymer Technologies products...

Pretty sure your engine already comes with a cooling fan. But to each his own

I was always taught heat is the enemy. I use the box fan after turning off the ignition... Makes me feel like I'm not just letting it heat soak.

What color is it?

Also depending on the ambient temperatures, putting the box fan on the motor probably doesnt do much. Do you still have the stock blower fan and assembly in the engine bay?

The blower fan does exactly that after the car is shut off if the engine temp is above a certain level.

yes you are.

And blowing hot air back down into the engine compartment under the car makes complete sense

Hmm...152k on mine...never done the external fan thang...blower motor works great. The engineering is superb...probably overkill IMO.

If I had a C2S, I'd do that too.

You need to lighten up a little, you must really dislike a lot of folks here. Your posts are extremely negative, or just the ones I read.

I'll have to follow this up with some IR temp readings to see if it does help avoid heat soak. Those F1 guys might know something about thermodynamics.

Once again I'm not saying there are design flaws with the cooling, but parking in the garage with the door closed and great soaking doesn't seem optimal.

Arctic Silver.

Fan still works, augmenting it was my thought...

It's not an F1 car.
Do you think dudes burning hot laps on the track are putting box fans over their deck lids? lol

To each it's own 🤔 but this is just too much IMO 😁 but if that makes you happy , go for it 👍🏼
