Default Riviera Blue vs Turquoise Blue

Rennlist,

What are the primary differences here?

Any side by side images?

Which do you prefer and why?

Here you go....
https://rennlist.com/forums/993-foru...re-thread.html

It degree of Blueness it goes;
Mexico - very blue
Riviera - slightly lighter
Turquoise - lighter and with a hint of green (well at least in my eyes there is).

Personally it depends on the car.
GT2 = I`ll take one in Mexico blue,
Turbo S = Torquoise
Carrera RS = Riveria will do..

All are gorgeous. Mexico goes best with dark wheels, Torquoise looks great in Turbo S trim.

Are you painting a car or looking to buy?

Thanks,

That thread partly sparked this one.

Most images appear without labels, which is which!?

Finally are they all factory 993 colors? Or reserved for specific variants GT2, Turbo, RS

All factory colours as far as I`m aware but its possible there was an extra cost when ordering (which could explain why so rare).

Riviera is significantly lighter than Turquoise.

Unfortunately Turquoise changes color depending on lighting.

Rudy has both, and will probably chime in with some pictures soon enough. I have pictures, the the app doesn't work when you try to upload.

Riviera is definitely the nicest looking in person! (But that's splitting hairs; they're all such amazing colours!) Least fave is Mexico out of the 3 bright blues.

Here is a video of my friends' Rivi wrapped Carrera.

Default Turquoise Blue and Riviera Blue

It's funny how Riviera Blue makes Turquoise Blue super dark 😬💙💙💙💙

This thread is perfect timing. I too have a black car and am planning to get it wrapped instead of painting it. If I paint it I want to do a proper job but don't really want to spend that kind of money to get a black car. I don't want to permanently change the colour either.

I love the 993 blues - Riviera is awesome but I don't want to copy the most desirable colour only to have to tell enthusiasts that is not really Riv blue - so I decided on Turquoise.

Here is my inspiration pic (Opo's side by side confirmed my love of Turquoise blue)

Best,
What are the primary differences here? The hue / shade

Any side by side images? Many, search around.

Which do you prefer and why? Neither. Those "colors" do not float my boat.

Ciao and good luck sorting things out.
