Epic drive on Sunday!

Leaving White Rock at 5am via 0 Avenue to Abbotsford.
Hwy 1 Abbotsford to Hope - will stop at Tim Hortons until 6:30
Hwy 3 (Hope-Princeton) to Osoyoos by 9AMish
Continuing on Hwy 3 to Castlegar then Hwy 3A and Hwy 6 to Nelson
Meeting at Smokewood BBQ at noon 301 Victoria St, Nelson

After lunch the really fun drive begins - Hwy 6 to Vernon and many more less-than-straight byways beyond and back to White Rock. just drove this route a week ago and roads were in terrific shape.

PM me if you want to meet enroute and we can swap phone numbers.

Keninirvine I'll call you on Saturday to touch base

Hope the Zeus-mobile is running strong Joel

Woohoo! Love endurance drives!

Yes! LOL. It's the killer dealer-closing shot that Bert sent me with a caption "Here's Joel driving back through the Rockies".

Saddle up boys! The epic drive begins. Time to doff the cover and fire up the sleeping beast! No worries about a little rain. May I remind ourselves that we're not driving Ferrari's. See you tomorrow in Nelson Jeff and Ken.

And... I believe after adding Brian's and Jeff's suggestion we have the final route! Check this out...

Sheesh, the most fun I had on the Rennsport Trip was the section from Crescent City up into Oregon and around Crater Lake. Almost no cars seen for 250 miles, and no way I would've done what I did without a V1.

Same can be said for the 90 minute run home from Rennwerks down Hwy 1 from Carmel to Cambria a couple of years ago at 5am. Passed 1 RV the entire run-that was indeed a "Blue Moon" that day.

Define "much".
Yes, I often exceed the posted limit, but usually not at crazy speeds. 80-90 feels wonderful in these cars (assuming minimal traffic).

Default And he's off!

Joel carefully backing his new car down the driveway:

The obligatory group shot (thanks, Cathy!). Left to right: Bert, Joel, yours truly, Stephen, Brian:

It was great meeting you, Joel, Brian and family, and re making acquaintances with Bert and Stephen.

I deliberately didn't crop it out; they're both unique cars.

Joel got away just in time, with the Heavy Snowfall Warning coming yesterday.
