Default What is it worth?

Hey guys, I was contacted by a guy looking to sell a black on black 993 Turbo S. The holy grail, but there's a catch. It has a clean title but had a previous accident, with no structural damage.

The car is missing:

Engine
Transmission (says he has found one for $12k)
Front diff
One headlight
Rear bumper
Guages

The rest is there. what is something like this worth? Thanks for the insight.

Run away as fast as you can unless you have unlimited funds and plan to keep the car until you die! Any future resale value would never equal what it would take to put this car back together.

Without those key pieces (and the numbers matching ones), its worth the sum of its parts.

Given that ownership history, numbers matching, never farted in, cream puff condition is the name of the game with these models, this one really doesn't have much going for it. Likely is only worth the sum of its parts. It would probably cost $70,000+ to get it back on the road and only be worth $100,000(?).

Wasn't the turbo S stolen from Beverly Hills Porsche black? That one was never recovered right?

That one was silver. Ron Burkle's car. Needless to say my S' and other rare air stopped going there!

If the engine got sold and can get tracked down this would certainly be a car worthy of such a search... paging Wayne Carini paging Wayne Carini....

I would be very curious to hear what he wants for it if you are willing to share without revealing the source!

If it could be had cheaply enough, it may be fun to do this, take it to the local C&C and bum everyone out.

In that case, do it before he changes his mind. If not pass the lead to someone that may be interested. I'm an all OG type of guy but this deal would interest me de such a small outlay. PM me if you're ultimately not interested.
