I am surprised you haven't found LM's used. I agree they are a great looking wheel.
For 3,500 that is almost retail price for these wheels. I suggest you be a little more patient and keep scouring ebay other classifieds and you will find them. I did the same and in the end found a set locally on craigslist.

After personally owning both (not on a 993 but a 964), I can tell you that the grass is always greener. Now, I find myself looking for either ETA Beta's or Hartmann 3 piece. Meanwhile my BBS LM's are as good as brand new and I shouldn't even waste my time looking.

I really like MY02's - they are inexpensive, they look great, they are light and if you bend one easy enough to replace at a reasonable price.
