Thought it would be interesting to see what 993 drivers from around the world are paying to insure their Porsche for the year. I live in New Jersey and I know this state is one of the worst.
I pay $1650.00 (with collision, $500 deductible) per year

I live in NJ and insure with State Farm. My premium is $1590 with $500 deductible.
I wonder what company I'll be using when and if
State Farm follows through on their plan to leave
the Garden State. Any ideas?

Premium comparisons alone are rather meaningless and more likely, quite misleading. There are a myriad of variables unique to each insured's situation. Among these are country, state, regional & urban/rural differences, coverage limits, types of "optional" coverage (comprehensive, rental, road service, UM, med pay, etc.), deductible levels, driving record & claims history, multi car, package and other discounts, age of insured driver(s), specific model/year of your Porsche, type of use, annual mileage useage, & other factors which may make huge differences.
As an example, my 993 premium is less than 50% that of my 1995 Volvo 850T principally driven by my "good driver, good student discounted" teenage son, with identical coverage.

$600 per year with GMAC Insurance: 3rd car, ~5000 miles p.a., pleasure use in Southern California. GMAC was a lot cheaper that 21st Century for my other 2 cars as well, so I switched everything over last summer.
Leland West (PCA)was closer to $950, if I remember right.

Similar to some others outside the NE congested area; $700/year w/ State Farm in Steelertown suburbs. One driver, limited use miles. $1000 deduc. on collision/$500 on compreh., $100K/300k liability if I remember right. Pretty much same rate as my '98 Audi A4 Avant daily driver.
