I beat you all.
Back when I was living in Toronto, Canada lease payments on my 96 Honda Accord LX were $240/mos and my insurance was $400/mos. This was with a clean driving record. Since I hadn't had insurance in previous two years I was immediately put back into the high-risk category. Some people just keep paying insurance even if they aren't driving the car anymore just to stop the above from happening.
