Just wondering if anyone was going to the three day race/DE at Sebring at the end of the month.
It's run by PBOCflorida and Sunshine Beemer.
There doing a 120 min enduro race on Fri..
I was going to rent a race car and do the enduro and the two races on Sat/Sun but, I'm finalizing the deal on my Pcar so renting a race car is out of budget.
I'm still going to do the driving school though.
Just wondering if any of you other enthusiasts are going to be there..
btw, I love Sebring.. Of the 8 tracks I have driven, it's my fav.. and 3 days!! (one day of open lapping, two days of run groups.)

 

B-line:

A little off your subject...are you planning to go to the 24 hours of Daytona? Is the Sebring event before or after Daytona? Just thought that I would ask since I was looking at coming down for the 24 hours...

No, wasn't planning on going to 24 hrs at Daytona.
Neither as a driver nor spectator.
In terms of racing, I'm still green.. Haven't been in a track race yet. But I do have my SCCA permit.
I was going to race at Sebring but that's club racing with Porsche Bmw Owners Club.
The Sebring event is Jan 25-27.
I'm not racing now because I blew my budget on a Pcar. So, I'm going to take the Pcar and do the drivers event (means I get to run solo all weekend and get tons of track time in my new car.)
Dayton'a pretty cool though. Was just there in December for Skip Barber racing school.
And, I don't often go to the track unless I'm driving. As much fun as being a spectator is, I usually save my $$$ for mods on my car.

B-Line,
I will be at Sebring for the PCA race and DE event. Feb 8-11 (I think), weekend after Daytona. I don't know if there are spots left but if you go let me know.
