If you track the car they might fail you for flopping receptacle.

Home depot had a good arrangement of washers. But if you end up getting rennline seat mounts for harnesses, that stuff comes with a good kit of washers.

Btw, for harness submounts (under seats) Porsche makes them for these seats and they are cheaper than aftermarket for once. Still overpriced for what it is tho.

So the sub mount is a 996 part right?

Correct, 996gt3. Bought mine at sunset. They were cheap (200 for pair?) compared to other seat related hardware.

You gotta share more on what it took to get rid of AWD. Did you have to get different transmission mount or did you keep torque tube? Any noticable difference?

I definitely will share my driving impressions when I get back from my extended road trip. So far the front end feels lighter and the steering effort also. It seems to turn in a little quicker as well. However, because I haven't pushed it at all, this could just be chalked up to me expecting that it should feel that way. So my impressions aren't to be trusted yet. Everything is out and I bought FDMs transmission brace. So drive shafts, differential , etc are all out.

Further complicating my ability to pinpoint how the change to RWD feels is the fact that I now have RS wheel carriers, RS tie rods and new bushings up front. Oh and new wheels. I don't know what I am feeling. Haha. --Michael

Car looks nice, big fan of thos LM's. Which rennline lug nuts did you go with? http://www.rennline.com/Steel-Lug-Nu...ductinfo/LS02/

Is it just the picture or is the sunroof seal need some attention before you take it on a long roadtrip :-)

When I took the sunroof apart to fix it, the seal got even more tattered. No leaking though. Just cosmetic ugliness.

I can't remember exactly. They are open though.

Look forward to seeing which gear ratios you select.
