Default would this work on a 993?

I love the look of this 964. you've probably seen various versions of this car on the threads.

Luckily the 993 also looks good from an angle

do you think these are 17" or 18" wheels? they look larger than 17" but I'm not aware of these cup wheels in an 18" size.

would these wheels and stripes be a good look on a black 993? I cropped the front and rear ends to remove the influence of the 964 bumpers and wings. part of the 964 advantage may be the black stone guards on the rear wheel wells.

This is definitely a case of personal opinion/preference. Myself I do not like any retro cues on a 993 or even a 964. The term "period correct" is often used and in this case retro graphics are not from the time when these cars were in production. I'm certain you'll get many responses that love the look but these are just my own thoughts.

I tend to agree with you but my car is black and I'm not really a fan of black cars. so I'm looking for a way to dress it up and personalize it a bit. not that I need to stand out from a ton of 993's in the first place.

Can you link to that car?

I for one like it, and also agree that these would be removable/changeable in the future so no biggie either way...

I like the stripes on a 964, but imo they don't look good on a 993.
