Watch out for leather on the dash due to sun damage. This shows up as cracking and dreaded shrinkage.

In addition to the items on Viken's list, my full-leather '95 has leather on the door panels, armrests, and the rear side panels (not just on the window-sill areas). Viken, I assume by the dashboard "center section" you mean the center "console" that runs down the center tunnel? This is leather in my car.

No. By dashboard center section I mean the area where the vents, HVAC controls, radio and passenger airbags are. The leather center console was a separate option.

I replaced my dash with the oem full leather dash and it is a great upgrade. Easy to do also.

Viken,

As you define it, the "center section" of the dash in my car is not leather -- it's about the only area of the interior below the windows that is not. The center console is trimmed in leather, although the CARDEX does not indicate a separate option for that.

What I stated above is what Porsche did and still does with the current 911 series in terms of leather options. If your car is different, I cannot explain it.

Well, now I'm curious. Is my car unusual? Anyone out there with a full leather 993 who can add any input?

Is the 993 TT's interior the same as a full leather Carrera's as far as where the leather is?

I have full leather in my 95 coupe, just about everything is leather. I was told you can tell by the seats being full leather and no small hole on the seat inserts.
