So you remove the clock and wedge the ring in there?
Where does the arm bolt to? ("bolt hole tab for PCM-1000L")

There is a screw hole already in the dash where the support arm connects. In addition to the mount, you need to buy a cradle for your device. I went with a Proclip USA mount which works just fine.

The fit and finish of the PCar mount is very impressive.

It fits perfectly, and is TOTALLY reversible. The engineering is spot on.
