Default running car while jacked up to reset OBD readiness

Hi all. Anyone (especially for Californians) ever try doing this to reset readiness codes? Obviously risky and will need cooling fan but maybe easier than driving the car on the street.

Speed does not come into play at all when setting the readiness codes (that is why so many people have problems following the various online instructions that say drive 20MPH for 3 minutes and then open a door and rub your stomach, blah, blah, blah). The main input that the ECU uses is LOAD and with your tires free-wheeling the engine will not be under any load. Without hitting the defined load points that makeup the readiness code drive cycle, the codes will never set.
