Question Can any Porsche genius help me please?

I recently purchased a "killer" 1997 c4s. While deciphering the options Friday night; thanks to helpful Rennlist members, I came up with the options listed below. Aside from not being able to identify several options, can someone please explain to me what "09991 manufacture from the exclusive-programme" means? Thanks. I would also be forever appreciative if anyone can figure out what the other 8 options are!

Code Option Description
09991 manufacture from the exclusive-programme
159 Motor Sound Pkg
329 Radio - ?
419 Rear luggage compartment instead of rear seats
437 Comfort seat left
438 Comfort seat right
454 Automatic speed control
X54 Oval Chrome Exhaust Pipes
X71 Aluminum Instrument Dials
XD1 993: Aero II Turbos S Front Air Dam
XD2 993: Aero II Turbo S Rear Deck Lid

options still not found are: x63, x64, 801, 850, 00051, 09981,
16981, 19981

any ideas?

Thanks for the help

Looking at your asking price got me nervous about my C4's value. So to allay my fears, I whistled past the graveyard and virtually strolled over to Edmunds.com.

According to their modest computing, my 96 C4's certified value is $51,670 - while private party is 44,400....

Pack up the 993, honey - we're movin' to Edmundsville (hard by the Village of Panorama)!

Default Wrong Car!

The car for sale is the 1996 993 for $32,500 (still a great price). The one I bought is a 1997 c4s "loaded"; for that one, I just payed $53,000. Your safe!

ksjcorpus: According to my wife, because I'm an idiot! The deal is; I don't like the body style of the 996. My intention was to buy a really sharp 993 with low mileage, and supercharge it. So I bought what very well may be the nicest c4s in the country, with 20,000 miles on it. It belonged to Julio Iglesias. Now I'm having second thoughts about screwing up such a nice example of a 1997 c4s, by supercharging it. I think I'm going to give in and buy a 996TT or GT 3.

The 1997 c4s has 22,000 miles on it and the deal was brokered by Formula One in Miami. I have great pics of the car if you are interested. I would sell it for around what I payed for it (5 weeks ago)!

"For all the girls I've loved before" Da da da da.... da da.....
So does the car smell like cologne? Rose petals on the floor and stuff? Panties under the seat?

Default ha

No on the smell. What is funny though, when I started playing with the GPS address book, there were several entries such as Vidal Sassoon. I promise, I'm not lying!

That does sound like a killer C4S -- rear seat delete is a good start.
Does it have a sunroof?
I tried to decipher those other codes, but I couldn't find them.
Do you have the window sticker?
Are these codes printed on the front hood?
The Exclusive Programme allows special order cars with options that don't appear in the sales order guide. For those customers that need more than just leather on their air-vents and carbon trim on their gas filler cap ...
I think the 16981, 19981 codes are paint to order colour codes (looking at other colour codes) but who knows.
The X codes seem to relate to cosmetic stuff like carbon facia on a trim piece in the cabin.
Can you post pics of the car?
What have you noticed about the car that's unlike other C4S's you've seen?

My '91 C2 cab also has the "manufacture from Exclusive Programme" option tag. As was indicated above, it means that it was a special-order car with some unusual option that required it being taken off the regular production line. In the case of my car, as best I can tell, it was the supple leather seats. I would guess that, with your car, it's the aerokit, but it could be one of the other options.

You may want to order the Kardex for your car from Porsche North America - it will have a complete list of the options that your car came with.
