I am wondering the same. I currently have my Maxflows off for some work I'm getting ready to do on my car and running only the X-pipe and sport cats (I angled them out the rear bumper exhaust cutouts. Crazy sound!!!! CRAZY!!!! Maybe these would help tune the sound.

EDIT: I'm likely just gonna have my Maxflows modified for LPMM.

Let's put it this way, when you roll by a Jr. High School at recess (They still have recess?), every car crazy teen age boy will run, not walk, over to the fence to listen to those pipes.

If you buy them and don't like them, somebody will always buy a set of Fabspeed Supercups for what you paid for them, especially when it's only $300!

The Maxflows sell new for $1,595, you'd cut these up for a LPMM modification? Thought about buying a set of 993 muffs and sending them to FD Motorsports, and save the $1,595 mufflers for ????

You make a good point, Martin! I did not realize that. I traded my Fister 3s for them, and never bothered to check how much they cost.

Actually the Fabspeed cost # is confusing. $1,595 it includes their wide oval tips...tips sell for about $300, so new the Maxflows should be $1,295...sorry for misleading you on this pricing issue.

In comparison, a pair of Bishoff of Gillet stock muffs cost about $500, and about $500 to convert them to Stage II or Stage III. So this is $1,000, easily.
