removed the previous owners dorky personalized plate
and
installed my own oh so cool personalized plate

but then the seat folding latch would be on the wrong side? That would be a bit odd.

They are on both sides of seat back No issues. I’ve done it and now my more worn seat back is on the passenger side

No but I found it in search a year ago. It’s pretty easy and you get to do a lot of cleaning and leather treatment

yes you are quite right! I feel a bit embarrassed I missed this. Staring at me all these years. Great idea actually.
