Mostly just thought about my accumulating new parts pile, waiting to be installed. RS engine mounts, wheel spacers+studs, 3-spoke steering wheel is off to Poland for new leather, Fabspeed wide oval exhaust tips, new rear center reflector, various other plastic trim pieces, etc, etc.

I started it for the first time in probably a month. New battery is lovely... even in dead of Baltimore cold *** winter and on no tender or charger, fired up with almost no cranking.
I also noticed it has a flat right rear tire and I've been so overwhelmed with other things in my life that I haven't even unloaded my Atlas scissor lift off the trailer I transported it on 7 months ago! So... this week, the temp is supposed to get back up over 40 during the days. My goal is to "clean out" the garage a bit, put some air in that flat, unload my ramps and lift, put them in the garage and park the car back up on them... and THEN... install a 60 amp service and electrical panel in the garage to make said lift work
Then, debate on the trouble of running a 3" drain from somewhere in the garage to the house to install a full bathroom in the garage with a slop sink for hand washing. Detached garage is 8 feet away from the corner of the house where the main electrical panel is and the panel has a 60amp breaker sitting in there ready to tie into. Water and drain is another story, lol.
So yea... that's what I did today. Start it and contemplate all that other crap.

I washed the suspension, inner wheel housings and undercarriage with hot soap and water. Also put the Techart wheels back on after having them powder coated gloss black (inspired by Opo). Tomorrow starts paint correction. Scuffs and swirls everywhere!

Wished we could have stayed for that. But would have had the lowly 996 Turbo. Back in 1.5 weeks.
Oh, 993s. 4S still parked in the backyard 2 years later (though I see its former suspension made it out for a drive), and the faux RS has been idled for nearly three years now.

^^I really like the RS4 and would probably have one if it weren't for the carbon build up issue.

If a few hundred bucks is holding you back i'd say you'd spend just as much if not more on 911 maintenance. Carbon clean is maintenance and is only every 35-50k.Nothing more, nothing less, but is does help wake back up the high revving v8 once done
