just thinking back to 2007 oktoberfest after i received a note from youtube re: an old porsche (mostly air-cooled) vid i posted back in the day.

some of you will recognize timeline cars & some faces from rennlist & pca. rufus w/ ol fartus emeritus even one shot of jo anne & Speedy waggin' tail.

i am also reminded of what a beautiful automobile legacy ferry left all of us with.

we're some of the luckiest ppl on earth. so drive the snot outta yer porsche.

remember this was the earlier days of HD cams & Youtube & air-cooled pcars were slightly under valued esp compaired to today's market.

Thank you Rich. That brought back so many memories of 'the good old days'. I cried my eyes out when you showed Speedster (3:08). We lost her on Nov. 4th. She was with us for 12 GLORIOUS fun loving years. She was 13 or 14 years old. She still was feeling pretty good, but bladder stones got the best of her and blocked her completely and there was nothing we could do. We also found out she had bladder cancer too and we didn't want her to suffer so we had to let her go. It was the hardest thing we ever had to do. There will NEVER be another Speedster. She was one special dog. The BEST.

I missed that drive, but I remember those days with the SoCal rats. Fun times.

can remember that day vividly. speedster was the coolest dog & a most stylish dachsie too! smiled when i saw her tail going. so lucky to have had her for so long. sorry it made ya cry though.

truly a fun run up and back from arrowhead. had a very spirited flight back down the mountain chasing a then new very fast 997 gt3. a blast.

for some reason i added a lil run fred, scott & i made to go see steve. rufus was beautiful to see run like that, as was the 996 gt3. these cars seem to always somehow give us escape just when we need it.

and mike... we need to organize a lil run this year dude.
