Default Elephant Eccentric Friction Locks

Interesting new product from elephant racing... I unfortunately just got an alignment, but I'm still considering giving these a shot for my camber and KT arms (toe arm is solid link).

Elephant "Guarantees" no creep even under track driving conditions. I wonder what this guarantee entails.

Default Locks

I'm sure ya probably have seen these b4, but a bit cheaper than a buck 50. I used stainless 1/8" plate, but sure aluminum would be fine.

I have no idea if those work or not, but the eccentrics are certainly a weak spot for tracked cars.

The older non adjustable locks need to be used w/ the turnbuckle arms. That's what I have on my car.

It's an interesting idea for sure.

Totally different concept. These are used with turnbuckle style arms like Bill listed above. Those would not be appropriate for the eccentrics on the factory arms.

Has anyone actually had their eccentrics move? I still have them on my turn-buckle rear camber and K-toe links. I have them set at full extended (ie: push arm out as far as possible). Only race car, full slicks and they have never moved.

Also had a friend who ran a 700hp GT2 on Michelins with the eccentrics still on all links and do not recall him talking about them moving.

Every trip to the Glen

The last straw was the day I was off 3 times, and left early. The car was undriveable.

Wow Bill... Very surprising. Curious which one(s) moved?

...did not mention above, but I had a racing incident that bent all rear links on one side of my car (again turn-buckle style ones) and eccentrics did not move. I set them as they are to minimize moment arm (ie: full extended, or full short would do same thing).

The KT arm both sides was by far the worst. At that time I has a full RS suspension on the car.

Now w/ full RSR all is good
