Just curious. Is that after-market or OEM?
Either way, where did you pick it up? I really like the look of it on your car. You are right, it does give the impression that it is a widebody.
Thanks.

Mark,
It's actually an after-market product. No one was selling a used OEM at the time and I wasn't going to fork out $3G for OEM. It's made by AIR (American International Racing) and I bought it used from Jim Newman (Rennlister).
I'm thinking of changing it to a Supercup model to make it more aggresive look, however, I'm still debating.
Peace!
Ron

Kim,
If you need more room for supercharging or a turbo conversion, you will need the turbo tail. The RS tail does not provide more room. Having said that, there are some ways of mounting the equipment on the side instead of on top. Somebody over here in Zurich, had their 993TT intercoolers mounted on the side, to completely eliminate the rear wing. (Looks like your car now).

I have seen pics of RUF conversions that have the intercoolers mounted in the rear fenders, like the CTR2. But I hate the spoiler that feeds air to it.
I think that the ulitmate 993 conversion would be to mount the intercoolers in the fenders of a narrow body C2 and feed air to them using vent opening ala Turbo S, or an NACA duct like some of the older Yellow Bird RUFs. Talk about a real sleeper!! But the money involved with doing that...just buy a Turbo and forget about creating another Frankenstein. At least that's what Steve tells me...
