PPI in Northern CA

Carrera Motors in San Mateo may be an option. I haven't had my 993 in there for service but I used to take my '86 911 there many years ago and they were good back then. Others may have more recent experience with them. Possibly another PPI option if you're considering that eBay car in San Mateo.
I've chosen to have FD do my 993 services because they help me slide down the slope! Oil change plus suspension, oil change plus fister cans, oil change plus golden rod, etc. etc.

Some of the work and maintenance was done at RMG and FD by the previous owner but he does not have the invoices. I called the shop and they remember the car/owner but do not know exactly when they did the services. He is right by Junipero Serra Porsche? Anyone know that shop for PPI? He can take it there today if i want. At this point im not too worried about cost for PPI vs how comprehensive it is done.

That is shop #1 on my places to avoid. I had a tune up done there on my old 964 after hearing about them from another R'lister. Aside from having the owner tell me how good he is because he loves the car more than I do, after getting it home I found the nuts that hold the A/C compressor loose and one that had fallen off and ended up under the pulleys. It's appalling to think that happened by a professional. That may have been an isolated incident but I'll never go there again. Too many other quality options available.

Thanks for the help everyone! After looking at the car, i decided to get a PPI done. However the owner did not have any documentation with any of the work done when he bought a year ago from his friend. Even though FD let me know they do remember the car, they couldn't verify the work with invoices. That being said, the owner has decided to keep the car and not deal with selling it. Back to the hunt i go!

There's a silver lining in everything that happens. You may have dodged a bullet.
