Default OT: Bought myself a birthday present

Long story short, I bought a F30 320d BMW in the end of the summer to be my daily driver. Did some little "tuning" (M performance parts, suspension etc.) Car drives and looks wonderful but I just can't get over the awful sound of the 4-banger diesel engine.
-> ended up driving my Cayenne and the BMW just sits in the garage.

Now I've been wanting a V10 M5 since the day it was introduced. One of my friends actually had one back in the day. So I decided to pull the trigger today (since it's my birthday) on a 2007 LCI (facelift) E61 M5. Yes, a wagon M5!!!

So my daily driver will be the Cayenne AND the M5, depending on the weather and how I feel that day.

Will post up some better photos when I get the car. It has abt. 55k miles with full service history. Engine was replaced by BMW at 30k miles.
Black on black with a lot of options.

Nice! Too bad those were never imported here. We can only get E-Class AMGs. Not that I'm complaining

Jealous! Love the high powered wagons they offer in EU.

Same here, love my 4.2 V8 Audi S4 Avant, there is just something rude about a fast estate car that exceeds so many expectations which appeals to my sense of mischief.

I happened to be at the Ducati factory this summer and all the top brass were driving wicked RS6 wagons. Fast wagons are the coolest.

A BMW fan here. I'm lucky to own one of my favorites cars, e34 M5 3.8L

The S85 is a wonderfull engine! Derivated from the F1 and unique sound, that engine already is glorious! Too bad it's coupled with the ****ty single clutch SMG system

I know that few were made 6 speed manual fir the US market only.

Same thing when we visited the Lamborghini factory. Lot was full of Audi Avants, S8's and standard A6 TDI Avants.

You can tell there is something sinister going on when you look at the exhausts. Saw a bit of the documentary on Paul Newman's racing life yesterday and it mentions his 620 HP? Volvo wagon that Wayne Carini purchased on one of his shows......not so "sleepy" suburbia!

Thanks guys! I think it will be an awesome wagon!

Would really like a newer M5 as in F10 but the taxation is really brutal here.
For this 2007 I need to pay abt. 12-13k euros in taxes. For a F10 M5 I'd be looking at 50-100k tax ticket... not cool. I will rather spend that money on my 993s and racing.

SMG, stick was only available in the US.

I will trick it out a bit just to make it stand out from the rest of the wagons out there. Put a rack and a skibox on it, lower a little and slap on some nice wheels like this:

Love those ADV.1 wheels, I have them on my Cayenne too.
