Actually, there are 2 RS alternator pulleys available (don't need mine either).... Even though it looks mighty cool sitting on my tool box.

Bob, Jeff,

What's the advantage of using the RS pulley? Didn't do a search on
it yet .... Is it lighter, less HP overhead, ... etc ?

Thanks,

*****,

It reduces the number of belts to 2. It does this by spinning the alternator and the fan off of one belt instead of two. It also looks very cool.

OK Jeff, I took some measurements and I think this will work. While not the same as Ben's car, it appears that the spacing for the fan and pulley will be OK. I am going to install mine tomorrow.....

I had to special order a bolt. I got a 120 MM GR 10.9 bolt and that should be fine. It'll be here next week. I ordered extras, so if it works out, I can send a pair to you. Just email me late next week sometime.

I got them from here: http://www.metricspecialties.com

sweet sweet!
you da man!!

on the side note,
... my car had an oil fire this weekend at the track
fortunately the fire was subdued before any serious damage.. (clever driving and presense of mind intact)

in anycase... i think my trackdays are over for a while now... since the engine will need to be stripped again, i guess i'll pop in the mounts at the same time.

the upside is that she was kicking butt, and posted some incredible lap times... that was before she blew up... a sad day indeed

Bob,

Thanks for the info on the pulley. Looks neat.

Sorry took so long to respond; I was travelling out of the country.
