I just got my Craftsman Club flier in the mail and they have an aluminum 4000 lb. jack for $162.

For that price I may give it a try. The quality can't be that bad. And if it is, it's an easy return to Sears.

The model number is 50239.

If I read it correctly, it is 3-3/4".

Min. height is 3-3/4" and, due to its aluminum construction, weighs only 44 lbs!

No wonder it's where America shops.

thanks chuck .. i think im going to check out that jack. do you ever jack up the bottom of the engine -- apparenlty you can. also i notice you have a vfr -- so do i. an 02 that i just put some erion pipes on ........... sweet sound.

you can jack from the engine, but I have not done that yet.

FYI, I got the K&N Power Commander for my Interceptor. I'm not sure if they make it for your year, but it transformed the bike into a real rocket.
