Default Ecu question

I noticed on my ECU (Thanks to Steve OFE
for telling me to look) The aluminum shroud is
held down by normal hex nuts. Steve says they
should be some type of security bolt. Mine are normal
hardware nuts. O.F.E. thinks I may have some
souped up box. How can you tell?

Mine were normal, too, OldGuy. Although the manual talks of tamperproof, they weren't, and I'm pretty sure I was the first owner to venture there, as the original chip was not re-programmable. So I can go back to standard easily (tho' I certainly wouldn't!).

Cheers, Maurice

Mine was also totally stock, and did not have the tamper proof nuts.
