my exact sentiments...
i've adopted the idea a little and will start the works as soon as all the parts come in.
the new exhaust route is going to be extremely short, but will comprise of a volumetric buffer within the housing to cut down the noise a little.
pics from the EK engine appreciated though!

Here is the sad part - Yep, I am serious
I ducked infront of a Fairlane as my lane closed down.
200m up the road, I went around a slow car and was caught in a right hand turn lane
[the gods weren't with me ]
I then cut off the same Fairlane, and gave an appreciative wave.
As I accelerated away I saw the "Mayoral" numberplates - BUGGAR
