Default Another RS engine mount install

My RS engine mounts from the group buy with Suncoast arrived yesterday, and I installed them today.

Only hitch with the install was that I needed an 18mm deep socket to remove the nut from the bottom, but that was only a $4.30 item from the FLAPS.

Results? Nothing dramatic to me. There is a slight increase in engine mechanical noise, but it didn't really jump out at me over the sound of the RSR mufflers - certainly nothing that bothers me in a sports car. I actually kind of like it, since I have a better ear for how the engine is doing.

I can't say it makes an remarkable improvement in shifting, but there wasn't a problem before while driving on the street. It does feel a little crisper when the pedal is punched.

I'm satisfied with the results, but wouldn't recommend it as a "must do" for everyone, unless you are replacing bad mounts anyway, or regularly visit the track or autocross course.

Thanks for the report Chip, I just got my RS mounts as well (Thanks Danny), and they should go on the car this weekend.

Yeah, thanks Danny!

I'm still not sure about the most important aspect of this upgrade, though. Does it mean I can now put those "RS" wheel caps on my car, without being hunted down by the poseur police?
